About Me
More about me... Who Am I? My name is Brandy Wimberly and I am a sophomore at the University Of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. I am a double major, English and Secondary Education. I am 27 years old and live in Jackson, Alabama. I am married and have a 5 year old son. I graduated high school in 1999 from Coffeeville High School. I then attended Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham where I graduated in 2001 with a Associate Degree in Applied Science. I have been a practicing funeral director and embalmer since that time. I got interested in wanting to teach because I want to set a good example for my son by setting goals and getting as much education as I can. I also want to be on the same schedule with my son and play a major part in his education.

iGoogle Will Help Me Communicate With My Students
IGoogle is my favorite new technology tool. It offers a little bit of everything. It allows the user to download different themes to make their page their own. When you sign up for an iGoogle page, you have access to gmail, the weather, games, quotes of the day, google talk, and many other "gadgets" available from Google. I would insist my students have an iGoogle page because it gives the students the ability to communicate with me as well as other classmates in a safe and secure environment. IGoogle also allows the user to set links to different web sites or blogs. I would utilize this feature and link my students' igoogle page with a class blog. I just love technology!! You can sign up now for your very own igoogle page anytime at no cost. Just visit Google.com and type in igoogle and it will prompt you to set up an account.
